You're reading this blog post because you probably struggle with marketing your business, right?
I mean, who wouldn't want their marketing to work for them?
When we become small business owners, we also become the accountant, the creator, the marketer, the juggler!
We're not cut out for any of these if we don't have much of a background in them, including myself.
But now, my party business markets itself.
I have enough people that know what I do who then recommend me to others whilst I work on my social media business.
Do you want this for you too?
Here is how I did it, grab a cuppa and make some notes!
1 - I perfected my offering and target audience so I could tailor my marketing to the right people.
2 - Once I was confident with what I was selling, I tailored my content to place myself as an expert in my field.
3 - I had a plan and stuck to it for one whole year.
4 - After three months of ploughing through the plan things started to change for me, I had beautiful customers that loved what I did and business picked up.
5 - After a year of creating content through blogs, social media posts and videos, I noticed that people who hadn't even bought from me, started to recommend me to others.
6 - I continued to stick to my plan for another 3 years and hard work pays off - I can safely say I am a well known party entertainer, highly recommended and continue to run a successful business because my content spoke to them.
Now, there are some flaws in my plan and I don't recommend it for everyone.
Every business is different and social media has changed so whilst this worked for me back then, I wouldn't do this now.
However, the principles are the same - show up, create content that speaks to your audience and keep going even when you feel like giving up!
How can people recommend you and feel like they are part of your journey if your offering isn't good, if your content doesn't make them feel anything or if you don't post for week's on end?
Start with a plan and stick to it.
